Glad you find it helpful! What you are dealing with is very common in authors and writers. Itโ€™s very hard to make any business self sustaining, and writing is one of the hardest businesses to make sustainable. That is why I have spent so long trying to give strategies to authors to do so.

Idk what the best roi is, but I believe it is reading the new book we are launching now Direct Sales Mastery for authors.

Most of my career has been selling fiction. The author services stuff happened because I saw authors struggling, but I mostly made my career selling fiction direct to readers

I feel this post 100%. Sometimes I have no idea where to turn or who to look to for advice on how to get the book moving and keep it that way. Only reason I'm still going is pure spite and stubbornness.

I really appreciated this, and I appreciate our journey! My dad achieved some financial success when he was fifty, after decades of struggle. He got a BMW and a somewhat sarcastic license plate for it that said, "IZNVREZ" (It's never easy) and the point was that it's not easy for anyone, even if their car looks nice. I'm his son, I was already on my own at that point, and I realize now how cat and mouse it can appear to us. I've had a book deal, finally, but that "wasn't enough" and I've heard authors with far more sales than me bemoan the same feeling...so what is IT that we're seeking? Is this an endless carrot rope? Thanks for putting yourself out there.
